About me
English language teacher / Director of Studies in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland / Lecturer / Cambridge and TELC examiner / Translator and Interpreter
A graduate of English philology at the University of Silesia. For over 17 years, I have been passionately working as an English language teacher and translator. I gained my experience in all educational institutions, from secondary schools to universities and language schools both in Poland and in Great Britain and Ireland. In addition, for many years I have been conducting language
classes for both business and corporate clients as well as individual clients.
The main method used in the classes is the communicative method and 100% use of the target language.
The following activating methods are used in the classes:
- pair work and group work (in the case of small group classes)
- role-playing, simulations, case studies, presentations, project work, etc.
- a variety of authentic materials that go beyond the textbook, e.g. additional tasks for
vocabulary or listening comprehension - constant interaction in the target language
- additional academic and teaching aids using the latest technologies
It is the student who is in the spotlight so I approach each student with commitment and an
individual, almost empathetic approach, whether in a group or during individual classes, through constant monitoring of language development, constant feedback on progress and motivation for further work. Each trainee should be free to express themselves, without embarrassment, stress or any barriers. Undoubtedly, the atmosphere of classes is one of the overriding factors enabling the free flow of knowledge and a platform for stress-free expression of one’s thoughts and views. For students, I am not only a language coach but also a motivational trainer.
Additional languages: Spanish and German – advanced levels.

Translations
Written translation
- 1500 characters including spaces (1 page)
- PLN 43 gross – standard translations
- PLN 53 gross – specialist and scientific translations
Translation of all written texts, e.g. press articles and scientific papers, contracts, letters, lectures, CVs, business correspondence, film subtitles.
Simultaneous and consecutive interpreting
- 150 pln gross / hour - online interpretation
- 200 pln gross / hour - in-person interpretation
Participation in business events such as meetings, negotiations, presentations, conferences, international fairs as a language assistant / simultaneous / consecutive interpreter in Poland and abroad.
